My husband is usually quite gentlemanly. I think much of our behavior depends on upbringing - I came from a family where anything goes: farting, belching, scratching, generally being disgusting. His family was much more refined. The differences were there earlier in our marriage, but now he's much more relaxed and natural with me than he was at first.
